The Short Films of Hocus Focus Productions from all genres.
Here we'll bring you some of our short films. Some may also be available as part of an anthology from one of the other genres and others are stand alone projects we did because the mood struck us.
- Shelter starring Joel D. Wynkoop
Shot in one day and written to fit into our meager budget and use existing props, "Shelter" was originally shot to be part of a larger collection of films by Florida filmmakers. Ultimately, that collection was never released as a set, but I'm glad we were driven to make it.
I think the actors handed in great performances and Maryanne Schultz did wonderful make-up for us, especially considering the time and budget constraints.
I also got to use my HD Handycam and Wide Angle lense, not to mention make something strange in a jar.

- A Night Alone
A teenage girl makes plans on how to spend the night in her empty house while her father is out, but she is interrupted when an univited guest shows up. The Alien is still stalking prey and he's taken on a new, larger form.
A short related to the Alien Vengeance feature and sequel. These aren't too heavy on plot, more a way of showing what the alien may be up to between the two longer stories.

What's that smell?
A very short installment in the "Alien Vengeance" shorts collection just to show the creature never stops hunting.

- Alien Vengeance: The Other Me
The Alien is hiding out in an unsuspecting woman, but Onyx's agents may be on to its game. Will the woman be able to piece together the events of an unbelievable night in time to stop the alien from completely taking over her mind?
Takes place AFTER AV II in the movie timeline.
This character will be key in the webseries when it is finally launched. There are more secrets about her yet to be revealed.
